Milan to Bologna High Speed Rail
Location: Milan, Italy
Grandi Lavori Fincosit was awarded a major section of construction of the new high speed rail network from Milan to Bologna. The Venezia Station of the underground railway line of Milan, shown below, is part of this project. It is a unique work of its kind ever realized before in Italy, both for its dimensions and for the particular design and methods of execution. GLF will also be constructing a cable-stayed bridge over the River Po, thus enabling the complete construction of the Torino-Milano-Roma-Napoli line.
