Cable-Stayed Bridge for the High Speed Railway
Location: Milano-Bologna, Italy
The works of the High Speed Railway Milano-Bologna consist of 180 Km of railroad in the northern part of Italy. In addition to the new line, the following was also part of the contract:
- 28 Km of interconnecting rails
- Strengthening and expansion of the line Modena-Mantova
- Replacement of the existing line Milano-Bologna in the municipality of Modena
- A new station for the high speed trains at Reggio Emilia and 90 KM of new roads.
Among the most relevant structures of the project was the Cable-Stayed Bridge over the Po River.
