Vulcano Di Nola Super Center
Location: Naples, Italy
This commercial center has the typical shape of a vulcano, and represents the nearby Vesuvio’s vulcano that surrounds the area. The total covered surface of 150,000 square meters makes the project, the largest commercial center in Europe. At the center of the crater lays a 160 meter diameter plaza. This plaza hosts two (2) commercial galleries with 150 stores, a hotel, movie theater, spa, and a mega supermarket. This vast project was designed by renowned Italian architect, Renzo Piano.
