US 41/SR 45 Hachett Creek Bridge
Client: Florida Department of Transportation, District 1
Location: Venice, Florida
Construction: 2001—2005
This project for Florida Department of Transportation, District 1, included the construction of a new double leaf bascule bridge to replace the existing two-lane bascule bridge. Construction included drilled shaft installations, mass concrete placement, bascule steel fabrication and erection, machinery installations, hydraulics, electrical, flat slab deck construction and a major urban roadway widening.
