Location: Tampa, Florida
Construction: 1998—1999

This project for the Tampa Port Authority included the construction of a 100' by 750' pier at the Port of Tampa, Florida. The pier was founded on 460 each prestressed 20" concrete piles that supported cast-in-place concrete caps and precast concrete deck panels. The deck panels were topped with 6" of microsilica concrete. The project also included dredging to a depth of 36' in front of the pier.
