Sidney Lanier Bridge

Client: Georgia Department of Transportation
Location: Brunswick, Georgia
Construction: 1997—2002

This project for the Georgia Department of Transportation is a joint venture between GLF Construction Corporation and Recchi America, Inc. The scope of work included the construction of the main cable-stayed span of the Sidney Lanier Bridge, protective rock islands for the main piers, construction of portions of the north and south approach structures including drilled shafts, AASHTO girders and concrete decks.
